Case Management

Active Care's experienced team of Nurse Case Managers stay in continuous contact with the claimant, treating physician, and adjuster, this allows us to coordinate medical treatment, assess medical progress, and monitor the claimant's compliance for you.

Active Care's telephonic and on site case management will:
Identify and control ongoing areas of claim exposure
Initiate contact with the claimant within 24 hours of case referral
Evaluate medical expense issues and furnish a report with recommendations
Obtain treatment plan including information about the pre-accident health status of the claimant
Medical documentation is obtained to support medical treatment and diagnostic testing
Continued follow up and assessment of the medical file - every claim has a mainimum of a 30 day follow up
